The Main Events
There will be a quilting retreat in Fellowship Hall, Nov. 5-7 @ 9:00 a.m. to whenever. Bring a machine. Ironing and cutting stations will be provided. People can work on their own projects or a community project. Hopefully Tammy Day will be working on Quilts of Valor. We will have a project in process for the dialysis center. Lunch out at least the first day. We can discuss if we want to do something different for Friday and Saturday. Contact Cindy Huckfeldt for further details.
ANNUAL THANKSGIVING DINNER AND CHURCH DECORATING will take place on Sunday, Nov 22nd after the 10:10 service. We will also decorate the church for the holidays after the dinner. Many hands will make the work go faster. Sign up sheets for attendance and to bring food items are posted on the bulletin board. STEWARDSHIP CAMPAIGN KICKOFF SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2026. The theme for the 2027 campaign comes from Luke 14:23 “Go out into the roads and lanes and compel them to come in, so that my house may be filled”. Our financial commitments are an expression of faith that supports ministry, mission, and the future of our congregation. Please prayerfully consider your pledge for the coming year. Your financial commitment is more than support for a budget; it is an expression of faith and a partnership in God’s work through this congregation. There will be a 2027 pledge card in the pews for you to fill out and and place in the offering or take home and return to the church by November 15th.
