5th Sunday Mission Emphasis
5TH SUNDAY MISSION EMPHASIS FOR AUGUST is the School Lunch Debt at our three high schools. We had this mission last November and our congregation was very generous in your response. No one wants to see children go hungry through no fault of their own. There are hundreds of high school students in Casper who cannot pay for their school lunches. It is hard to learn well when you are hungry. Please join the Mission Commission and Disciples Women’s Ministry in this joint mission emphasis to help our local students. The money we donate will go directly to Food Services at the three high schools. Please make checks to FCC, designate school lunch debt and a specific school if you wish — NCHS, KWHS, or Roosevelt or place cash donations in an envelope and mark it school lunch debt.
